It’s no secret I’m in love with the city of LA and discovering adorable mexican restaurants with amazing food while cruising the PCH is just one of the thousands of things I love about this city. La Costa Mission is one of the newer additions to the Malibu food scene. What appears to be a historic California mission is now the home of an upscale mexican restaurant that comes fully equipped with a mini cantina, outdoor seating, and spanish guitar music to set the most perfect scene ever. It’s also kind of a fun LA-ish bonus that this place is FILLED with celebs. Go there on a date, take your parents when they come to visit, go for brunch with your girlfriends, whatever you do, just go.
Gotta Go!
Hi Everyone,
We are La Costa Mission, a New Mexican restaurant in Malibu. We opened in January 2012, right next to the historic Old Courthouse building on P.C.H and were embraced immediately by the Malibu locals thanks to our warm fireplace, fresh margaritas, and executive chef Geno Bahena, who worked side by side with Rick Bayless in Chicago for over a decade. Geno is truly an artist, and we are so proud to have him with us. The community has discovered our restaurant purely through word of mouth. Our Yelp reviews have turned out to be our greatest and only form of advertising.
The La Costa Mission family would love to have you come in and try one of our freshly made margaritas, and taste Geno Bahena’s “Out of this world cuisine” at our new Happy Hour.
Monday through Friday 5:00 P.M to 7:00 P.M
We look forward to seeing you soon.
Buen probecho!!
