Flashback: One Year of The Mom’s View

Well team, it’s officially been a year since I launched my online hosting career with the ladies of TMV and I’m so happy I get to be a part of The Mom’s View family. Yipee! We’ve had a crazy fun ride this past 365 days and I feel very lucky that I’ve gotten to work with such welcoming, sweet, thoughtful, supportive, funny, beautiful women. I’ve learned a lot from day one and I’ll always remember my excitement and nerves as I hosted the first LIVE show. (It was the first time I had ever hosted a show, let alone a live one!) It’s exciting to see where the show was and where it is now. I’m thrilled about what’s in store for the future and below are some memorable moments from this past year. Thanks for letting me share my world with you!

A Tale of Two Bumps: Bloopers!

As some of you know I co-hosted a show called A Tale of Two Bumps with my preggy partner in crime, Kayli. We shared everything from our pregnancy struggles to what we were most excited and nervous about to heartburn, pickles and everything in between. It was a crazy roller coaster ride and I’m so happy I got to experience it with her and share the journey with you guys. I’m super excited to announce that the show will continue-only this time we will be joined by our little ones! YAY! I can’t wait to start filming the new season, we have brand new name, A Tale of Mommy and Me, AND we’ll have a cool new set. I’ll be sure to keep you posted on when the first episode airs. In the meantime enjoy the bloopers from the first season of #2Bumps!

Where’s My Baby!?! 41 Weeks Pregnant

Hi! THANK YOU to everyone for all your tweets, comments, and support. I have honestly never felt so loved! I truly can’t believe I’m still preggers! WTF!?! I’m currently at 41 weeks and 1 day pregnant with no major signs of labor ; ( I’ve been feeling anxious, uncomfortable and, to be honest, pretty miserable. Believe me when I say I’ve tried everything to naturally induce labor. Like EVERYTHING. From a “labor inducing” salad, to acupuncture, reflexology, castor oil, raspberry tea, getting busy with the hubs, and anything else you can possibly think of!

On a positive note Idris is doing great (he’s a little too comfy if you ask me). Michael and I have had two appointments in the last few days to monitor his fluid levels and his heart beat. Everything is perfect and all the Dr’s and my midwife agree to just let nature run it’s course for the next few days to see what happens. If he is not here by Friday, I will be induced. Getting induced would most likely mean no water birth for me, which breaks my heart, but ultimately I’m going to do what’s right for my baby boy. I want him healthy and happy. In the meantime Michael and I will do our best to keep you all posted on what’s going on with me and my nugget.

In even more positive news, my preggy partner in crime Kayli had her beautiful baby boy today! Check out her insta and send her lots of love! Idris can’t wait to meet his BFF.

Baby Advice From A Pro

Hi and happy Wednesday! I’m still here, still waiting to make a big announcement… so far nothing is happening! Grrr. In the meantime, check out the latest episode of A Tale of Two Bumps, where my girl Colette gives us some baby advice. After five kids of her own, I pretty much consider her a pro on all things baby and mamma. She shares tips on how she naturally induced (with exercise!), what she packed in her hospital bag and mostly how she remained flexible throughout the process. I’m currently trying to channel her calm aura! Have a great day everyone!

Baby Shower Haul

Happy Friday! Raise your hand if you’re ready for a double dose of baby shower fun!?! I’m just going to assume everyone is waving their hands frantically in the air because they can’t get enough of this baby shower! lol I had every intention of posting this video yesterday, but I was on set for one final day of filming until my bambino arrives. In yesterday’s video Kayli and I casually recap our fun filled day and share some of our highlights. For me that included salted carmel cake pops and of course being showered with love from friends, family and coworkers. In the today’s video, which is below, we share our baby shower haul. Kayli and I were SO SPOILED and several brands that have been following our journey gifted us with a variety of unique and useful products, like our super cool Joovy strollers. A large majority of our other gifts came from a great site called WeeSpring.com, which is basically an amazon meets yelp for mammas. The site is jam packed with reviews, recalls, and product recommendations. For a first timer like me, it is extremely useful! Be sure to check it out. Now, back to the video, sit back, relax and enjoy the baby shower haul from us preggies. In the meantime, I’ll be over here trying to INDUCE LABOR!

Luxury Baby Shower

Who’s ready for some more baby shower fun!?! I love the beautifully shot video below that captures the perfect day Kayli and I had celebrating our little men with some of our favorite people. Never did I think I would have such a luxury baby shower! Believe me when I say I’m constantly reminding myself of how lucky I am. I can’t thank The Mom’s View team enough for all they have given me.
