I’m so happy to partner with Trunk Club for this post. I’ve added this service into my life a few months ago and I can’t tell you how much of a game changer it is. For a busy mom like me who hates shopping it really has been helpful. In the past I’ve used the online Trunk component of Trunk Club, but this time I experienced the service in person at their LA Clubhouse! OMG. It’s SUCH a beautiful space that you can check out in my video. It made me feel EXTRA fancy. My stylist Tyler had preselected a ton of clothes in my size to try on and paid for what I kept!
Be sure to take advantage of the Anniversary Sale going on from July 20th to August 5th at any of Trunk Club’s six Clubhouses. Markdowns range from 25 to 50 percent! YAS! You can stock up for fall or look for great pieces you can buy now and wear now. You‘ll get access to discounted items from Nordstrom’s largest sale of the year with the full service Clubhouse experience. Sounds pretty dope right?

Beauty & Style
Trunk Club
I hate shopping. Yup, you ready that correctly. I don’t enjoy shopping for clothes at all. In fact it actually feels like a chore for me. I do however love looking cute and wearing stylish, flattering outfits. I also need new pieces from time to time since I host so many shows and do all kinds of internet-y things that require me to look put together. What is a girl to do? TRUNK CLUB baby! Trunk Club is a service that I’ve been using for a few months now. Every quarter I get a brand new trunk filled with fabulous clothing, shoes and accessories that was curated by a stylist. Sounds almost to good to be true right? It’s super straight forward and very user friendly. All I do is fill out a profile and then communicate directly with a stylist who comes up with pieces that I might want/need added into my wardrobe. I let my stylist know what I’m looking for (i.e. bright spring dresses and cute flats) and she gives me a ton of options. I can tell her I’m on a budget and she works with me. I can tell her I want to be adventurous with my wardrobe and she’s got my back. If I don’t like something or I have a similar item at home, I simply communicate that with her and she makes some changes. It’s EASY and I like EASY. Once I approve my trunk it ships to my house within a few days and I get to have a try-on party. (Sometimes there is wine involved). If a piece doesn’t fit right or I’m not too crazy about it I simply put it back in my trunk and set up a pick up. Trunk Club has someone pick up the trunk from my house. Repeat. I don’t even have to go to UPS or anything! How cool is that? Cheers to spending time doing things I actually enjoy- like eating! ha Check out my looks below- all Trunk Club!
The first outfit is a red top from Joie and a denim skirt from Madewell. The second top is Kate Spade with AG pants.

Unconventional Beauty Hacks
What do glue sticks, apple cider vinegar, banana peels and beets all have in common!?!? I put them all on my face in the name of beauty! I had the chance to be on CBSLA recently sharing some unconventional beauty hacks. The first one is glue sticks! Yup. Apparently Beyonce’s makeup artist uses glue sticks to hold her eyebrows in place. I know several makeup artists who also use glue sticks to make their eyebrows disappear so they can re-draw them. This is typically done in drag makeup or if you’re trying to do like a 1930’s thin eyebrow.
The second one is Apple Cider Vinegar. Warning- this is on the smelly side! BUT it does a great job of brightening your skin. My thoughts are if it’s good for the inside of your body, then it’s probably good for the outside of your body.
The third is banana peels! Admittedly you won’t see drastic results, unless you keep it up for a LONG time and avoid anything that makes your teeth yellow, like coffee, red wine or green tea. Why not try it after you finish your banana!?! Lastly, beets! If you’ve diced beets for a salad or roasted them, you know they stain your hands and fingers. Well, guess what!? They also stain your cheeks and lips. Obviously this isn’t going to be something that you keep in your makeup bag, but I always think it’s fun to experiment with food and beauty. It can’t hurt!
Watch the short segment below on CBSLA and let me know if you have any crazy, weird, unique, cool beauty hacks of your own!
One Blush 3 ways & Fall Makeup Tutorial
It’s Fall but in LA it feels like the peak of summer. Hi 97 degrees. At least I’m not pregnant! Gotta look on the bright side of things. Back to the post, I created a Fall makeup tutorial below and I also use one blush 3 ways. I love playing with products and using them in new ways. It makes me feel like I get more bang for my buck. The all-star of this look, the blush, is from Becca cosmetics in the color Snapdragon. It’s one of those blushes, like Orgasm from NARS, that seems to look gorgeous on everyone. Enjoy the look below and have a fabulous day.

Hey Mom! I’M ON TV
It’s true! I shot two different tv shows back to back last week. Insert happy dance. The first was as a spokesperson for Water Wipes. (My favorite wipes in all the land!) See why I love them here. I got to be on Access Hollywood Live talking about cooling summer skin hacks on behalf of my beloved wipes. You can watch my segment here. Being on live TV was a BLAST! I was definitely a bit nervous since it was my first time. You know that scene in Old School where Will Ferrel gives a big speech so they can keep their fraternity? After he kills the speech he said he basically blacked out… yeah- that’s pretty much how I felt too. I loved it though and I hope to do more live TV. The SECOND TV appearance was in NYC the very next day! I got to be a guest on the FOOD NETWORK. Say WHAAAT!?!? Yup. I made a fun dessert on a show called The Kitchen. I believe it airs on August 12th. Everyone I met on both shoots were wonderful, SO welcoming and nice to me. I loved both experiences! THANK YOU UNIVERSE.
Everyday Spring Makeup Tutorial
Hello! Before you read any further I have something important to tell you- THIS POST IS SPONSORED Mirum Shopper. Ok, now that we took care of business let me tell you what’s going on with my face! Hope you like it…. the makeup, well and my face. I hope you like my face. That sounds weird. I’ll stop. It should come as no surprise that makeup application is much easier when you have really great tools. I’m a huge fan of Eco Tools brushes (have been for years). They’re made of recyclable materials, perform extremely well and are totally affordable. The brushes and sponges have recently been refreshed and are even better than ever. Say what!?! YUP. You can save some sweet dough on those bad boys by clicking this link from Coupons.com.
Back to the tutorial. This everyday Spring makeup look is simple, fun and easy. I know bright colors can be intimidating for many people, so I wanted to share a look that incorporates color without going over the top. Plus, let’s be real, who has the time for dramatic eyeshadow on a daily basis!?! Not this busy mama.
SKIN: I used my Eco Tools perfecting blender duo sponges and a foundation mouse in an attempt to get rid of my zits, redness and dark circles. I added a concealer under my eyes and used my small blending sponge to smooth it out. I dusted a bit of bronzer all over my face to give myself a nice healthy glow. The blush/powder brush from Eco Tools is perfect for giving me a sun kissed look.
EYES: First order of business is always eyebrows. I filled in the gaps, elongated them on each side and used my Eco Tools spoolie to blend the product into my brows so they look more natural. I popped a bright aqua liner on my water line and smudged a bronze liner right underneath. This way I got some fun color without going overboard. I used my shading brush from Eco Tools and applied a bit of bronzer on my crease and used my smudge brush under the bronze liner to give it even more of a smokey look. The last step was 700 coats of mascara. J/K It was about 5.
LIPS: I wanted to keep it simple, so I just used a tinted lip oil and I was good to go!
Check out the full tutorial below!
