I’ve driven by Burn 60 thousands of times and seen ridiculously sweaty people walking out of this gym, so I figured in the name of research I would explore it. After all it is in my neighborhood. What I quickly came to discover was that it was a treadmill class. All the people lined up on treadmills and we prepared ourselves for sixty minutes of intense cardio. (aka torture) We did a series of jogs and sprints, with inclines and without. After a ten minute interval we hit the weights. Ten minutes of excruciating torture lifting and we were back on the treadmill for another series of intense running combinations. This continued for sixty minutes. Now I was one of the ridiculously sweaty people.
In all seriousness it was a great class that pushed me to new limits. It is a total mental and physical challenge and if I did that a few times a week I would be in amazing shape.
