Hello and happy Friday beauties! Here is my latest face of the day. I have a smokey bronze eye makeup tutorial below along with all the products I used to create the look. It’s easy, and will look good on any skin tone. Go out there and try it this weekend. Cheerio!
I truly can’t believe it’s been three years since I started my online journey! When I began my blog my makeup career was in a transitional place and I knew I no longer wanted to do it professionally. I longed for something more exciting….but I wasn’t sure what or how or when. In high school I wanted to host a show (specifically one like Wild on E!) and somehow along the way that dream seemed like it would never come to fruition. Doing makeup allowed me to be part of the exciting world of entertainment without really putting myself out there… but it wasn’t my true passion. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE the beauty industry, but I wanted to be on camera! It took me a really long time to admit that to myself.
I am so thankful EVERYDAY that I started chasing my dreams when I did. I can’t imagine not doing what I do. It’s opened up doors and opportunities I truly only dreamed about. I’m not trying to toot my own horn, I’m trying to encourage people to go after what they want. There is a saying in farsi “Whenever you get the fish out of the water, it’s fresh” basically to me that means that no matter where you are in your life, it’s not to late to start something new and go after what you want.
I love my job and have worked harder than ever. I have no clue where I will be next year or in five years and that’s what is so exciting about what I do. There are endless possibilities and the sky truly is the limit.
I want to take a minute to say a sincere THANK YOU to everyone who has followed my online journey with me. Without your support I wouldn’t be able to do what I do.
Last thing before I end my rant- I am giving away ONE ticket to come hear me speak on October 7th in LA with a ton of other major movers and shakers online. To qualify, just send me an email telling me what your dream job is and why you want the ticket. It’s that simple. I will pick a winner by Friday!

*Must be able to get to Los Angeles! I can’t fly anyone in yet… sorry! One day!
After a recent selfie many of you asked about my makeup so I figured I would share my “Face of the day” and what I used to create it. Today’s look is all about summery golden bronze. I want my eyes to stand out so I used a bold copper shade on my lid followed by a pop of gold right in the center. I rimmed under my eyes with one of my all time favorite liners, Golden Bronze from Nyx, applied several coats of my fav mascara (Voluminous #duh) and kept everything else pretty neutral. All the products are below and you can purchase them straight from my site! Yippee! Happy Thursday kitties. Meow.

When I was in San Francisco a few weeks ago I got to visit the Bare Minerals headquarters (I share some of my trip on a recent vlog). In addition to my tour of the headquarters and getting my makeup done, I got gifted with a pretty awesome goodie bag. I wanted to share some of my favorite products with you guys. I hope you enjoy the haul!
Last weekend was BeautyCon. For those that don’t know BeautyCon is a beauty and style summit where influencers share their tips, secrets and stories about all things blogging, vlogging, makeup and fashion. It’s a great way to hear from and meet some of your favorite cyberlebrities. It’s fun to see how much it’s grown since last year too. I heard there were over 4,000 people at the LA Mart this year. So cray! Friday was the annual Platform pool party and Saturday was the big show. Hope you enjoy a snapshot of my weekend and my “get ready with me” video. THANK YOU to everyone that came up to me and said hi! Love my beautiful subscribers!

I had to make sure my beauty and makeup bag reflected the weather. Below is a peak at what I brought in an attempt to look cute in the sweltering heat. Watch the video below and be sure to check out my list of goodies. Hope you’re all enjoying your summer!

For my birthday this year nothing sounded more exciting than a day of pampering at a luxury spa. I also hadn’t had a chance to get my sister her bday gift yet. (She now shares a birthday with my son and I wanted to get her something in addition to a NEPHEW!) I decided on the Cure Salon and Spa in West Hollywood for a few reasons 1) they offered a hamamm (I hadn’t been in one since I went hammam hopping in Instanbul two summers ago) 2)They had a four handed massage. Done. The hammam was great, but can we talk about the four handed massage!?! Umm… wow. It was SO wonderful. The flow, pressure and unique blend of movements made it one of my favorite spa experiences ever. It will be hard to go back to just a regular two handed massage! #ImSpoiledNow
After multiple showers, a hammam, a rub down and a luxury bubble bath I think it’s safe to say I cleaned off all the baby barf that may have been lingering or hidden somewhere on my body. So gross I know, but I’m told I need to get used to that.
Check out this vlog to see more from me and my sis at the spa.
