Hi friends! Good news and bad news. The bad news is this is my last video from Istanbul. (I hope you have been enjoying them!) The good news is this one is my favorite video of all. I worked REALLY hard on it and I hope you all watch it, “like” it, love it, share it, tweet it and make it go VIRAL!
Here is a glimpse of some of my fav activities, recommendations, restaurants etc from my Turkey-tinerary
Hotel: Sirkeci Konak is perfect for a first timer. It offers a mix of charm, incredible hospitality, an abundance of amenities, a FANTASTIC breakfast and an unbeatable location. If you are feeling super lux, definitely stay at the Four Seasons Bosphorus. It is one of the most beautiful hotel properties I have ever been to!
FOOD & Drink: Eat at Can Oba for the perfect Turkish restaurant experience with food that you will remember for the rest of your LYFE! Siva Café was also a great place to grab a meal and people watch in the Sultanhamet neighborhood. FISH or 360 at Suada Island are both super fun, sexy and delish. Reina was an amazing outdoor club in Ortakoy with fab music from around the globe and over six different restaurants to choose from. Obsessed.
Hamams: For an authentic experience go to Aya Sofya Hamam. If your craving something more lux, DEFINITELY go to the Four Seasons Bosphorus Spa. Sidenote: I went to the Cagaloglu Hamami and I was NOT impressed, don’t know why/how it has so much hype. Skip it!
Aya Sofya, Topkapi Palace, Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar, Ortakoy, Sirkeci, Sultanhamet, Taksim Square, Bebek, Suada Island
Princes Islands (There were a ton more day trips, but we didn’t have time to do any other ones)
I sincerely hope everyone gets a chance to explore the city of Istanbul. It truly is so rich in history and culture. There was an overwhelming amount of things to do and see. The food blew my mind, and of all the places I’ve been, (20 countries!) Turkish food is my favorite.
P.S. My goal is to have 100,000 views on this puppy within a month. Help me make that happen. THANK YOU ALL for your support! I genuinely appreciate it!
